I-78 Crash Slows Traffic In Lehigh Valley: PennDOT All lanes of Interstate 78 are closed in Williams Township after a crash near the New Jersey border, according to transportation officials.  The wreck happened in the westbound lanes near Exit 71 (PA 33) around 2:35 p.m., said PennDOT on the 511pa website. Car Hit By Falling Tree On I-476 In Delco: Police A tree fell on a car on Interstate 476, sending one person to the hospital on Thursday morning, July 18, according to state police.  The driver of a Toyota Rav4 was seriously injured, troopers said. Two other cars were struck by debris but no one inside them was injured, authorities added.  I-476 between Route 3 (Marple) and Route 30 (Radnor) was down to one lane of travel as of 12:30 p.m., state police said.

Roadwork To Begin In Montgomery County, Officials Say Drivers are advised to expect possible delays as roadwork begins in Lower Gwynedd this week.  Crews will be at work at the intersection of Bethlehem Pike, Sumneytown Pike, and Norristown Road near Spring House Tavern, according to township police.  Work will begin on Wednesday, July 17, and continue through Friday, July 19, officials said. Crews will work from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. and then again from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  The project will include roadway milling, paving, and temporary line striping, they added.

A driver in a black Honda sedan fired at another vehicle, striking it twice, according to investigators.
