Hanover Man Killed By Crash Injuries Nearly 3 Weeks Later, York Coroner A Hanover man has died 20 days after he was injured in a crash involving a tractor-trailer, the York County Coroner announced on Friday, Aug. 23.  Zachary "Zach" Jacob Orendorff, 41, died from a "Subdural and Subarachnoid Hemorrhage" due to the crash, Coroner Pam Gay wrote in the release. He passed away at WellSpan York Hospital at 2:40 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22. The crash happened when Orendorff drove a minivan in the 6700 block of York Road when he crossed the centerline into an oncoming tractor-trailer at 11:15 a.m. on Aug. 2, according to Gay. Power Outages Reported Across Pennsylvania After Overnight Storms Thousands of Pennsylvanians are still without power after severe thunderstorms downed trees across the region on Tuesday, July 16.  The outages are mostly concentrated in the following areas, according to the PPL and Met-Ed outage maps:  Fontaine Atglen Wyomissing Lanark Hanover Brogue/Collinsville Emigsville Tinicum (Bucks) Met-Ed offered no immediate timeline for the restoration of service to more than 17,000 customers without power.
