A Danville man has been charged with homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence for a crash that killed 33-year-old UPMC nurse Karra Kate Clevenger, who was ejected from his vehicle and struck multiple times on PA Route 283 in September, authorities announced on Monday, Nov. 25. A Connecticut couple visiting friends in Pennsylvania was killed in a high-speed hit-and-run crash, and the driver has pleaded guilty to their deaths, authorities said. A driver has been charged with homicide by vehicle after a high-speed crash killed a man in a wheelchair, Harrisburg police announced on Tuesday, Nov. 12. Ricardo Alfredo Contreras-Cordero was driving north on 2nd Street when his vehicle left the roadway, crashing into multiple buildings and striking a pedestrian on the west sidewalk. Motorcyclist, 26, Killed In Hit-Run Crash Was From Mount Pocono
A 26-year-old motorcyclist from Mount Pocono was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Monroe County, authorities said. The fatal crash occurred at about 11 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16 on State Route 611 at Cayuga Drive in Coolbaugh Township.
