Third Pennsylvania Prison Stabbing in 24 Hours A 32-year-old man was stabbed multiple times in the head and face inside the Philadelphia Industrial Correctional Center (PICC) on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., according to Philadelphia police. The man was rushed to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition. Police said no weapon was recovered, and the scene was not held, though an arrest has been made. This incident marks the third stabbing within Philadelphia’s prison system in just 24 hours. PA Prison Guard Stabbed: Police A prison guard is in the hospital following a stabbing, Philadelphia police announced on Thursday, Oct. 24.  The stabbing happened at the Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility, located at 8101 State Road in Philadelphia around 1:40 p.m. An inmate stabbed the guard once in the left arm, according to PPD.  "The guard was transported by Medic 49 to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital, where they were placed in stable condition," the police wrote in the release.  The scene was being held, but no weapon was recovered.  The offender has been detained, and the investigation is ong…
