Yet another tractor-trailer rolled over on the interchange of Route 283 with the PA Turnpike on Thursday, Aug. 22, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The second tractor-trailer overturned on the ramp from Rt 283 West to the PA Turnpike/Interstate 76 South near the exit to the Harrisburg International Airport in Lower Swatara Township. Tractor-Trailer Rolls Over Spilling Dog Food On PA Turnpike: Officials
A ramp of the PA Turnpike/Interstate 76 closed Thursday morning, Aug. 22 due to a rollover crash, officials said. A tractor-trailer hauling dog food was heading east on I-76 when it attempted to take Exit 257 - Harrisburg East Interchange to I-283 Northbound, according to PennDOT and Turnpike officials. A multi-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer has led to lane restriction on Interstate 81, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler told Daily Voice on Friday, Aug. 9. The crash happened on I-81 South in the center and right lane at mm 58.3 around 4:40 p.m., according to Schreffler. The lane restriction is at Exit 59: Route 581 East to Route 11: Camp Hill, according to PennDOT's 511PA. PSP and Beltway Patrol are on the scene. Multi-vehicle crashes — including a fatal crash — have closed north and southbound lanes on US 11/15/Susquehanna Trail on Wednesday, Aug. 7, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler told Daily Voice. A vehicle crash into a fence at a Route 30 ramp is causing some delays on Monday, Aug. 5, according to PennDOT's 511PA. The crash happened at the Route 30 Westbound on-ramp at Kreutz Creek Road in Hellam Township around 11:15 a.m., according to the York County Department of Emergency Services dispatch log. Tractor-Trailer Rollover Blocks Ramp On Rt 22: PennDOT
A tractor-trailer rolled onto its side is blocking the on-ramp to Route 22 on Monday morning, Aug. 5., according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The tractor-trailer appears to have flipped exactly in front of the on-ramp from Elmerton Avenue to North Cameron Street/Route 22 Northbound near Wildwood Drive around 6:40 a.m., according to PennDOT's 511PA traffic cameras. Two tractor-trailers collided on Interstate 81 sending one person to the hospital, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler told Daily Voice. A tanker truck carrying milk overturned in Quarryville on Monday, July 15, authorities explained. The crash happened in the 1100 block of May Post Office Road near Springville Road in Eden Township around 4 p.m., dispatchers and the Quarryville Fire Department explained.
