Additional details about a horse-and-buggy crash that four Amish people to the hospital have been shared with Daily Voice by Pennsylvania State Police on Tuesday, Oct. 22. Initially, we reported that three people were hospitalized following a crash involving a horse and buggy and a truck on Sunday night, Oct. 20, according to Lancaster County Wide Communications — but now PA State Police has confirmed that four Amish people who were riding in the buggy were hospitalized. Rt 11 Reopens After Fatal Tanker Truck Crash: PennDOT
A coroner was called to the scene of a crash on Route 11 on Wednesday morning, according to Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler. The crash is believed to have been between a tanker truck and a passenger vehicle, Schreffler explained. It happened between Schoolhouse and Cove roads at around 11:30 a.m. on July 10. It is unclear "which vehicle had the fatality," Schreffler said. The area affected by the closure was between Maryville and Duncannon. The roadway reopened around 2:30 p.m., according to PennDOT's 511PA and Schreffler.…

Pennsylvania ATV Crash Kills 22-Year-Old New Jersey Woman, Police In Gettysburg Say
A 22-year-old woman died at the scene of an all-terrain vehicle crash on Sunday, Pennsylvania State Police in Gettysburg announced the following day. Evelyn Pineda Guadron, of Hightstown, New Jersey, was riding the Yamaha YFM7RAL ATV in the 400 block of Birch Run Road in Menallen Township near the Michaux State Forest in Shippensburg.
