Officer Shot Responding To Domestic Call; Barricade Ongoing In Maryland: Police (Developing) An officer is recovering after being shot during a domestic violence call in Washington County, where a suspect remains barricaded in a home as of late Thursday morning. Man With Knife Barricades Himself In Philly Basement Philadelphia Police responded to a man barricaded inside a basement, authorities said. The person had a weapon on the 4100 block of Devereaux Street (private rowhome) at 10:49 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 19, they said. A 44-year-old Hispanic male locked himself inside the basement of this property, police said. The male is possibly armed with a knife. It was declared a barricade at 12:24 p.m.
