A 30-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a three-vehicle accident on Interstate 78 on Wednesday, authorities say. The motorcycle, a tractor-trailer, and a Honda Pilot were involved in a wreck near Exit 58 around 11:45 a.m., according to state police. The Lehigh County Coroner's Office said the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities said he was a Coppersburg resident but did not report his name Wednesday. Trooper Rear-Ended By Tractor Trailer On I-76 In Philadelphia
A Pennsylvania State Police trooper was hospitalized after being struck by a tractor trailer on I-76 overnight in Philadelphia, police said. The officer was conducting stationary work enforcement in the westbound lanes with his emergency lights fully activated near milepost 340.5 in Philadelphia, when he was struck around 3:50 a.m., a spokesperson for the agency said. The trooper sustained moderate injuries as a result of the impact and was taken by Philadelphia Fire and EMS to the hospital for further evaluation.

A 28-year-old was badly injured Monday morning, June 24 when his motorcycle crashed in South Whitehall, according to police. State troopers said it happened around 12:45 a.m. on Route 22. A 2008 Suzuki motorcycle collided with a 2020 Toyota Camry in the westbound lanes near mile marker 319.6, authorities said. Police Name ATV Rider Killed In Philadelphia Crash
Authorities have identified the ATV rider who died in a North Philadelphia wreck on Thursday night, June 13. Michael Anthony Pembleton was headed south on Broad Street when his ATV hit the passenger side of a Subaru near Westmoreland Street, PPD said. Pembleton, 35, was taken to Temple University Hospital and pronounced dead around 9 p.m., city police said. One person has died after a crash involving a state police car early Friday morning, June 14. Troopers were driving south on Christopher Columbus Boulevard responding to a separate incident around 1:30 a.m., authorities said. A man and a woman are hospitalized after an early morning wreck on Route 322, Downingtown police say. A silver Honda Fit and a white Chevrolet Equinox collided on the 600 block just after 8 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, authorities said. Both were taken to Paoli Hospital Trauma Center while Route 322/Brandywine Avenue was shut down for more than three hours.
