Fiery, Crazy Car Rally In Philly Gets Pittsburgh, NJ Drivers Arrested: PPD An illegal car meetup with fires and a police officer nearly being struck has led to two more arrests — this time of people from outside the Philadelphia suburbs, police announced on Saturday, Sept. 28.  Alexis Boyce, 20 of Englishtown, New Jersey, turned herself over to Philadelphia Police at 600 Arch Street at 11:15 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 27, and Albert Woynar, 18 of Pittsburgh, was arrested by Pennsylvania State Troopers later that day, Philadelphia Police detailed in the release. Grave Robber Arrest In Swatara Township: Police The man who stole a grave monument from a cemetery has been identified and arrested, Swatara Township police announced on Friday, Sept. 27.  Anthony Reyes-Pabon, 24, of Harrisburg has been charged in connection with the theft of a grave monument at the William Howard Day Cemetery.  Reyes-Pabon was charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking, Institutional Vandalism of a Cemetery, and Desecration of Venerated Objects.  He was taken into custody on Friday, Sept. 26.  His preliminary hearing was held before Judge Rebecca Jo Margerum at 11:45 a.m. where bail was set at…

Water Balloons Thrown From Bridge Damage Cars On Rt 222: Ephrata Police Cars were damaged after items thought to be water balloons were thrown from an overpass, Ephrata police announced on Friday, Aug. 2.  Two vehicles were heading north on Route 222 when they were struck by the falling items at the East Mohler Church Road overpass, around midnight on Aug, 1. "One vehicle sustained a large dent to the hood, and the other sustained a cracked windshield," the police stated in the release.  Anyone with additional information about this incident is asked to contact Officer Martin with the Ephrata Police Department.
