Suicidal Driver Charged With Homicide For Striking Pedestrian Into PA Toy Store: Affidavit
A driver has been charged with homicide by vehicle after a high-speed crash killed a man in a wheelchair, Harrisburg police announced on Tuesday, Nov. 12. Ricardo Alfredo Contreras-Cordero was driving north on 2nd Street when his vehicle left the roadway, crashing into multiple buildings and striking a pedestrian on the west sidewalk. The collision occurred around 3:15 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6, in the 300 block of North Second Street. The victim, 68-year-old Eusebio Forestier of Harrisburg, was using a mobility scooter at the time. Fatal Toy Shop Crash Launches 2 Fundraisers For The Central PA Community
The Central Pennsylvania community is rallying for two families after a crash into a toy shop. Eusebio Forestier fondly known as Tio Cuco, 68, of Harrisburg, was using a mobility scooter when he was struck by a vehicle, in the 300 block of North Second Street in Harrisburg around 3:15 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6, as Daily Voice previously reported and as explained in a GoFundMe launched to help Tio Coco's family.
