Firefighters battled a massive blaze at the abandoned Harrisburg State Hospital grounds in Susquehanna Township late Monday, Dec. 9, leaving the historic Cherrywood building in ruins, officials said. The fire broke out at the Department of General Services Annex Complex around 10 p.m., according to Harrisburg Fire. A 38-year-old dad has been identified as the victim of a shooting that prompted a large police presence in Harrisburg on Friday evening, Sept. 13.
