Burning Body Found In Driveway Along PA Street: Police
The body of an unidentified man was found burning in a driveway along a Philadelphia street on Tuesday, Nov. 19, according to police. Officers and Philadelphia Fire Department crews responded to the report of a fire in a driveway in the 8000 block of Leonard Street at 3:08 a.m., the Philadelphia Police Department said in a news release. While still in the hospital recovering from burns, a 70-year-old woman has been charged with arson and cruelty to animals, the Ephrata Police announced on Friday, Oct. 18. Leslie G. Truitt, the 100 block of East Chestnut of Ephrata, is accused of "placing belongings of a former resident in her bathtub and setting them on fire," the police stated in the release.
