Child Under 5 Killed, 5 Others Injured In Lebanon House Fire (Developing) A child is dead and five other people — including four children — were hurt in a fire in Lebanon City on Friday morning Sept. 13, officials explained.  A child under the age of five died at the scene of the fire in the 1300 block of Brandywine Street, officials said. Attempted Murder: Stabbing To Face, Neck, PA State Police Say A man has been charged with attempted murder after police found a man stabbed in the neck and face in Red Lion, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Tuesday, Aug. 27.  Joel McWilliams, 36, of Red Lion, has been charged with Attempted Murder, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Possession of an Offensive Weapon, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Simple Assault, and Harassment, PSP York announced.  The charges come on the heels of a stabbing in the 300 block of 1st Avenue in Red Lion Borough at 10:22 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23.  Troopers arrived to…

Unconscious Man Rescued From Roof In Lancaster County: Officials (Photos) Multiple fire companies worked together to rescue an unconscious man from the roof of a home on Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 14, the Witmer Fire Protective Association announced later that day.  The elderly man was found "not alert, stuck on top of a roof of a mobile home, and unable to get down," as stated in the release.  Members of Lafayette, Witmer, and Ronks fire companies, as well as Lancaster EMS, worked together to get the man down safely. It's unclear why the man was on the roof.
