A Pennsylvania man was caught with a turtle concealed in his pants when a Transportation Security Administration body scanner triggered an alarm near his groin on Friday, March 7 at Newark Liberty International Airport, the TSA said in a release. A 22-month-old boy is in the hospital after being mauled by two dogs early Tuesday morning, Sept. 10, the South Lebanon Township Police announced. The toddler was staying at a babysitter's home when the dogs attacked, according to the release. A police officer fatally shot a pit bull in West Philadelphia this week, authorities said. It's at least the fifth PPD shooting of an aggressive dog since April. Authorities said two police officers were called to the 6100 block of West Colombia Avenue on Monday afternoon, June 24 for a report of a "vicious dog."
