Pedestrian Struck, Killed In Pennridge A pedestrian was struck and killed in front of the White Horse Inn in Pennridge last week, authorities said on Tuesday, Aug. 13. On Friday, Aug. 9, Pennridge Regional police officers were dispatched to the intersection of Ridge Road and Old Bethlehem Pike. When officers arrived, they found a white Toyota Camry had struck a pedestrian as the man was crossing Ridge Road.  The pedestrian was identified as Peter Gehring, of Sellersville. Family Names Toddler Killed While Crossing Philadelphia Street The 1-year-old girl who was fatally struck by a pickup truck in Philadelphia on Saturday, July 20 was identified by loved ones on GoFundMe as Madison Morales Salazar. Pedestrian Hit, Killed Standing On Philly Street Corner: Police An unidentified man has died after he was struck by a car in Philadelphia on Wednesday night, July 17, authorities said.  The man, believed to have been in his 50s, was standing on the corner of  Frankford and East Allegheny avenues when he was hit by a Toyota around 7 p.m., city police said.  He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to PPD. The driver of the Toyota remained at the scene and no arrests have been made as of Thursday, July 18, they added.
