A husband and wife are dead following a shooting at a nursing home in Pennsylvania on Thursday, Oct. 24, according to District Attorney Christopher de Barrena-Sarobe. An 89-year-old woman died at the scene and her 90-year-old was taken to Reading Hospital with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head — he passed away during the night, the DA explained in an updated release on Friday, Oct. 25.
