An Amish great-grandfather caused the crash that ended his life, East Earl Township explained in a release on Wednesday, Aug. 28. Levi R. Stoltzfus, 81, of Narvon, was driving the buggy east at the intersection of Sheep Hill Road and Springville Road in East Earl Township when he "failed to stop for the stop sign at Springville Road (PA route 897)," police said. PA Drunk Driver Was More Than 2X Legal Limit Hours After Ditching Car At Crash Scene, Cops Say
A Pennsylvania driver was more than twice the legal limit nearly two hours after she crashed her car and left it at the scene, police said. Heidi R. Hamrick, of New Holland, struck a utility pole at Ranck Road and Don Drive in East Earl Township around 12:10 a.m. June 9, East Earl police said. When officers arrived they found that the driver had fled the scene, but left their vehicle. Officers found Hamrick at her home and noticed signs of alcohol intoxication. Pequea Valley High School Student Killed In ATV Rollover Crash
An all-terrain vehicle rollover crash has led to the death of a Pequea Valley High School student. Tyler Yoder, 18 of Narvon previously of Rohrerstown and Lancaster, passed away following the ATV crash in the 5800 block of Northeimer Road in Salisbury Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police. That crash happened around 8:41 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, PSP explained in a release.
