Fire Erupts at Liberty Road Compost Site, Upper Saucon Firefighters Respond A significant brush fire broke out at the Liberty Road Compost site, prompting a swift response from Upper Saucon police and firefighters on Friday, Nov. 8, 2024, at 1:27 p.m., according to officials. Arriving officers found the blaze spreading from the east side of the facility toward the adjacent wood line. Of Aging Set Bathtub On Fire While still in the hospital recovering from burns, a 70-year-old woman has been charged with arson and cruelty to animals, the Ephrata Police announced on Friday, Oct. 18.  Leslie G.
