A New Jersey man who had been employed as a mascot for amusement parks and sports teams including Sesame Place is arrested on accusations he convinced a preteen girl to send him child pornography, authorities said. A coach and teacher in the Central Dauphin School district has been charged and arrested in connection with multiple sex crimes with multiple students, according to court documents obtained by Daily Voice. A 27-year-old Warrington man was arrested on child pornography charges last week, according to township police. Derrick A. Carthon is being held on a $250,000 bond, court records show. Authorities received six cyber tips from X.com, formerly known as Twitter, related to accounts associated with Carthon, police said.
