Fatal Motorcycle Crash Closes I-81 Ramp In Central PA: PennDOT A motorcyclist was killed in a crash that closed an Interstate 81 ramp in Hampden Township on Saturday, Nov. 16, according to Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler. The wreck happened around 6:45 a.m. on the southbound ramp to Route 581 Eastbound at Exit 59 (Route 581/Route 11/Camp Hill), officials said. Emergency crews responded to the scene, shutting down the ramp for several hours. The crash has since been cleared, and the ramp has reopened. No additional details about the victim or the cause of the crash have been released.

Details on possible injuries have not been released, but two people were displaced and assisted by the Red Cross. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

After the Amazon Driver made the 911 call, firefighters from both Pennsylvania and Maryland were dispatched to the blaze at the home near Sunspot and Spur trails in Carroll Valley Borough at 2:25 p.m. They arrived to find the home fully engulfed in flames, but thankfully no one was home.
