Firefighters Rescue Child In Car At Parking Lot Outside East Drumore Giant Quarryville firefighters rescued a child locked in a car Thursday, Aug. 15.  The company received the call to the child locked in a vehicle at 4:05 p.m. They were found locked in the SUV pictured in the parking lot outside of the Giant grocery store in East Drumore Township.  No injuries were reported. It is not immediately clear how the child ended up locked in the vehicle.  Check back here for possible updates.

$2K Reward Offered In 'Suspicious' Disappearance: PSP A "suspicious" disappearance of a man has prompted a reward to be offered for information leading to him, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Wednesday, Aug. 7.  Matthew "Matty" Whisman, 25, has previously lived in Quarryville, Willow Street, Drumore, Peach Bottom, and Intercourse, Pennsylvania according to his social media profiles.  Matty was last seen at an East Drumore Township home at the end of March, according to troopers. Lancaster County Man's Disappearance Is 'Suspicious': State Police A Lancaster County man with ties to Maryland is missing, say Pennsylvania State Police.  Matthew Whisman was last seen at the end of March at an East Drumore Township home, according to troopers. Authorities said the circumstances of his disappearance are "suspicious in nature."  He was reported missing on Wednesday, July 3.  Whisman is described as a 5-foot-8, 145-pound white Hispanic man with brown hair.  Anyone who spots him or has information is asked to call PSP's Lancaster Station at 717-299-7650.
