A man died by suicide inside the Huntingdon County Courthouse early Thursday morning, Jan. 16, according to a statement from the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts. Law enforcement confirmed there is no threat to public safety. The courthouse will remain closed for the day, with all proceedings rescheduled, court officials said. A suicidal man crashed his vehicle and was ejected after leading Pennsylvania State Police on a chase along Route 22 in South Whitehall Township, authorities announced. Troopers from the Pennsylvania State Police Troop M – Fogelsville Crime Unit were alerted to a suicidal male traveling into Pennsylvania from New Jersey on Monday, Dec. 16, at approximately 11:30 a.m., according to a release.
