Valedy Ross, 30, of Harrisburg, repeatedly called, texted, and emailed the victim without a legitimate purpose, authorities said in a release. Ross also allegedly placed a recording device inside the victim’s residence, capturing private conversations between the victim and others, police announced on Monday, Dec. 2.
In addition, Ross reportedly contacted the victim’s workplace, claiming to be a public county official, officers stated. The investigation culminated in Ross’s arrest on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024, at a residence on the 100 block of Joya Circle.
Ross was arraigned the same day by Magisterial District Judge Wenner and charged with the following:
- Felony Stalking
- Felony Interception of Oral Communications (Wiretap Violation)
- Misdemeanor Impersonating a Public Servant
- Misdemeanor Harassment
Bail was set at $25,000, which Ross was unable to post. He remains in custody at Dauphin County Prison, police said.
