Man Killed In Carbon County Blast Was 'Experimenting With Explosives': PSP
A Lehighton man is dead after state police said he was "experimenting with explosives" on Wednesday morning, Jan. 24. It happened in a detached garage at a home on Franklin Heights Road in Weissport, Franklin Township just before 3 a.m., troopers said. The explosion caused a small fire and killed 58-year-old Steve Sensinger, police wrote in a release. Troopers and the PSP Fire Marshal Unit are continuing to investigate. Authorities have identified the 32-year-old man slain at a Berks County bar in the early morning hours of Sunday. Oct. 16 as former NFL cornerback Antonio Dennard. Judith Rutherford was pronounced dead at the scene on Friday, Sept. 23, the Bucks County Coroner told WFMZ. Robert E. A body found by campers last month on an island in the Schuylkill River was identified as a Reading man who went missing six months earlier, WFMZ reports. The body of 62-year-old Kerry Frazier, who was last seen on Feb. 28, was discovered by campers in Union Township on Aug. 23, the outlet says. Lehigh Valley Man Who Nearly Stabbed His Own Dad Dead In Custody: Report
A 29-year-old man wanted for nearly stabbing his dad dead in Northampton County has been arrested, WFMZ reports. Giuseppe "Joey" Rizzolino fled the scene on the 900 block of Mine Lane Road in Palmer Township in a 2011 Nissan Altima around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, local police said. His dad, Joseph Rizzolino, 60, was found suffering multiple stab wounds. The younger Rizzolino was arrested sometime Sunday. He was charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and four other related offenses, police said.
