Suburban Philly School Director Charged For Failing To Report Childcare Worker's Toddler Abuse
A 39-year-old executive director at a Suburban Philadelphia school was arrested Tuesday for failing to report one of her worker's abuse of multiple toddlers, authorities said. Tiffany Nichols, of Kennett Square, was charged with felony child endangerment and failure to report child abuse, according to the Chester County District Attorney's Office. A Chester County man is facing charges after police discovered that he had attacked and stabbed his 70-year-old father, leaving him with severe injuries, authorities announced Wednesday. Michael Blough, 43, of Phoenixville, was arrested in Downingtown on Monday after several hours of crisis negotiations, according to the Chester County District Attorney's Office. Two people have died as of Thursday afternoon as a result of Wednesday night's storm in the Philadelphia region, reports say. That number is expected to rise. A 56-year-old Chester County teacher has been accused of sexually abusing an elementary school student for two years, authorities announced. Luis Morales, 56, of West Chester, abused the 3rd and 4th grade student between 2014 and 2016 while at Nottingham Elementary School in Oxford, DA Deb Ryan said. A 25-year-old man is facing charges after police say he displayed a gun during an argument inside a West Chester bar over the weekend. A Barnaby's employee notified police of a man -- later identified as Jacob Coleman -- who had displayed a firearm during an argument inside of the bar and fled around 11 p.m. on Saturday, according to the West Chester Police Department. A West Chester lawyer and New Jersey native was sentenced to up to 23 years in prison for stealing money from his clients for incomplete work and using the identities of his ex-wife and former mother-in-law to open credit cards and take out loans, authorities announced.
