Woman Dies 4 Months After Car Crash, York County Coroner Says
A woman has died four months after a two vehicle crash in central Pennsylvania. Barbara A. Prendergast, 83, of York passed away on Oct. 3, 2021, at York Hospital, according to the York County Coroner's office. Prendergast had previously been struck on the passenger side of a vehicle at the intersection of East Market Street and Mt. Zion Road in Springettsbury Township on May 27 around 1 p.m., according to the coroner's office. She sustained serious injuries and had remained in the hospital ever since. Man, 82, Dies 7 Days After Multi-Vehicle Crash In York
The York County Coroner has identified a man who died early Friday, seven days after a serious multi-vehicle crash in York County. Norman Miller, 82, of the 800 block of Butter Road in Dover was pronounced dead at WellSpan Hospital in York at 3:18 a.m. on Friday by the coroner. Miller ran a stop sign at the corner of Butter and Lewisberry roads and hit a vehicle traveling southbound on Lewisberry Road in Conewago Township on Friday, June 25 at 7:35 a.m. Miller died of blunt force trauma. Man, 85, Dies 5 Days After Crash In York
A three vehicle crash became fatal after an 85-year-old man died at WellSpan hospital, according to the York County coroner. Edward Reed, of the 300 block of Clark's Way York Township, died five days after he was seriously injured in a three vehicle crash in Springettsbury Township. The crash occurred at Locust Grove Road and Eastern Boulevard around 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 25. He was pronounced dead at 4:45 a.m.on Sunday, May 30. Reed's death has been ruled an accident. There will be no autopsy.
