PA Charter School CEO Stole School Funds From US Government: FBI, Usdoj
A charter school's CEO and President stole funds from a federal grant program that was meant for the school where he worked, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
Leonard Hart, 50, of Mount Wolf, the CEO and principal of Lincoln Charter School in York has been charged with felonies for the theft, according to the release on Wednesday, August 3.
Hart "obtained by fraud and misapplied approximately $6,400," starting in May 2018, United States Attorney Gerard M. Karam alleges.

A Pennsylvania worker at the United States Postal Service has been indicted for stealing approximately $10,000 worth of packages, according to the US Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
Michael Anthony Collier, Jr., age 39, of Harrisburg, was indicted by a federal grand jury on mail theft charges on Wednesday, Apr. 13, according to a release by the US Department of Justice.

PA Restaurant Owner Arrested By Feds For PPP Scam Could Get 90 Years In Prison, $2.6 Mil. Fine
A restaurant owner has been arrested for bank fraud, wire fraud, and money laundering in connection with federal loans he obtained, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
Scott Levy, 58, of Harrisburg, applied for PPP loans on behalf of his business, Hershey Road Family Restaurant, and received $227,500 in loans from the federal government during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the DOJ.
The restaurant closed in July of 2020.
Levy is accused of spending the majority of those funds on his personal expenses.
