A teenage boy has been arrested after causing a crash that left "multiple people with serious injuries," police alleged in a release on Friday, Sept. 8. The Newmanstown 16-year-old boy has been charged with Aggravated Assault by Vehicle, Accidents Involving Injury, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, and Reckless Driving, as filed by Ephrata Police Officer Thorp on Aug. 11. Teen Bicyclist Struck By Ephrata Driver Released From Hospital: Police
A teenage boy has been released from the hospital after being hit by a car in Ephrata, police announced on Thursday, Aug. 24. Virginia Tibbals of Ephrata was driving a Ford SUV east when she struck the unnamed teen, The Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department. The collision happened in the 1800 block of Main Street (US Route 322) at 6 p.m. on Aug. 22, according to the police. A teenage boy "intentionally rammed" a police cruiser two times, and "drove backward" during a wild chase— involving guns and drugs—in Lancaster, city police say.
