Patient Sexually Abused By PA Doctor Specializing In Treating Amish: Police
A doctor who specializes in "serving Old Order Amish and Mennonite (Plain) populations," is accused of sexually one of his patients. Vladimir V. Iakomi of Lititz was charged with indecent assault without consent and indecent assault of an unconscious person in connection with an appointment on Saturday, Sept. 30, according to a release by the Pennsylvania State Police the following Monday. A confessed cocaine dealer from Freehold who sold smuggled guns to buyers working for the FBI was sentenced to a plea-bargained five years in federal prison. Enrique Quijada, 25, who was in the country illegally, must serve out the entire term because there's no parole in the federal prison system. U.S. Attorney Philip R. A Monmouth County ex-con must serve a full five-year sentence in federal prison for trafficking guns from Florida to the Jersey Shore. As part of a gun-running network, Javier "Broly" Rodriguez-Valpais, 33, Morganville sold a .223-caliber semi-automatic rifle to a co-defendant -- who, in turn, sold it to an FBI cooperator, U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Philip R. Brian Laundrie's cause of death has been released, according to an announcement from the Laundrie family's lawyer. Laundrie -- the fiancé of fellow Long Island native Gabby Petito died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, WFLA, News Channel 8, an NBC affiliate in Tampa, Florida, reported citing family attorney Steven Bertolino.
