Men Sought After Suspicious Incident With Child At Lancaster Store: Police
Police are searching for two men accused of approaching a young girl inside a Lancaster store and asking her to walk with them, authorities announced on Wednesday, Dec. 11. The incident happened at the At Home store located at 1890 Fruitville Pike around noon, according to Manheim Township Police. The two men approached an 8-year-old girl, touched her shoulder, and asked her age before inviting her to walk with them, investigators said. Man Who Told Elementary Students He Knew Their Mom Not Creeper, Chambersburg Police Say
A stranger danger incident that was reported by two elementary school students in Chambersburg on March 8, 2023, is not a concern, police say. The man pictured supposedly had approached the two youngsters heading to Andrew Buchanan Elementary School around 8:40 a.m., according to the police release. He "reportedly told the young students their mother requested he walk them to school, but the mother of these students indicated she did not request this, and she was unsure who the person was," police said on March 9. Man Allegedly Tried To Lure Harrisburg Area Elementary School Students Into Van Without Plate
Elementary students on their way to school were supposedly asked to get into a man's van, according to a letter the Harrisburg School District. The man approached two Foose students near the intersection of 15th and Sycamore streets, on Tuesday, Dec. 20 around 8:50 a.m., according to the letter. The man is discribed as wearing a black mask and black sweater, and driving a white van in “poor condition,” without a license plate, as detailed in the letter.
