$8K Convenience Store Burglary In Steelton: Police
A burglar caused over $8,000 in damages and theft at a Steelton convenience store, police announced.
The break-in occurred at Raja Quick Pick Mart, located at 441 South Front Street, around 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025, according to Steelton Borough Police.
The suspect forced their way into the store, damaging the entrance and stealing items, authorities said.
The total loss, including the stolen goods and damages, exceeded $8,000, police detailed.

A week after human remains were found in central Pennsylvania, they have been identified as a man who had been missing for nearly a year, authorities say.
Goldie Smith, 38, of the 300 block of Swatara Street, Steelton, had been missing since 7 a.m. Monday, September 6, 2021, according to Steelton Borough Police.
Smith had last been seen in the 500 block of North 2nd Street when police issued his missing persons alert on Friday, September 10, 2021.

Two men were arrested and over $6,000 worth of illegal drugs and guns were seized in a warranted search of a central Pennsylvania home on Thursday morning, according to a release by police.
Steelton Borough Police, assisted by the Dauphin County Drug Task Force and the Dauphin County Crisis Response Team, warranted search of a residence in the 300 block of South 4th Street on Thursday morning, according the release.
Officers recovered over $6,000 in crack cocaine, along with marijuana, a handgun, and an assault rifle, as stated in the release.
