Tractor-Trailer Rollover Cause Closure At PA Turnpike Ramp In Lancaster
A tractor-trailer rollover crash has caused a closure at the on-ramp for the Pennsylvania Turnpike/Interstate 76, officials said. The tractor-trailer flipped at Colonel Howard Boulevard in the eastbound lanes leading to the PA Turnpike/I-76 entrance from Route 222 around 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 28, according to East Cocalico Township police and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. "Both lanes will be closed for approximately 1-2 hours," the police wrote in a release. There is no word of any injuries. Check back here for possible updates.

A car was found sliced in half on Route 222, Adamstown firefighters announced on Monday, Oct. 7. While heading to a training in Berks County, volunteers with the Adamstown Fire Company volunteers were called to a single vehicle accident on Rt 222. The crash was in the northbound lanes between the Exit: I-76 Turnpike/ PA Route 272 - Denver/PA Turnpike and Exit: PA 272 South/PA 568 East - Adamstown/Knauers around 7:30 p.m., according to PennDOT's 511PA. Water Balloons Thrown From Bridge Damage Cars On Rt 222: Ephrata Police
Cars were damaged after items thought to be water balloons were thrown from an overpass, Ephrata police announced on Friday, Aug. 2. Two vehicles were heading north on Route 222 when they were struck by the falling items at the East Mohler Church Road overpass, around midnight on Aug, 1. "One vehicle sustained a large dent to the hood, and the other sustained a cracked windshield," the police stated in the release. Rollover Crash Closes Route 222 North In Manheim Township
All northbound lanes of Route 222 were closed as of noon due to a rollover crash in Manheim Township Tuesday. The crash happened at 11:18 a.m. near Bushong Road, Manheim police said. The northbound side of the road was closed at Route 30 and Route 272 interchanges. Drivers were encouraged to avoid this area and plan alternate routes of travel.
