A driver fled the scene of a deadly crash that closed Route 15 in Latimore Township on Friday, Jan. 13, DOT officials tell PennLive. The two-vehicle crash happened between Latimore Valley Road/Mountain Road and the exit for Route 94 (Hanover/York Springs) in Latimore Township around 2:30 p.m., according to emergency dispatch in Adams County. A crash that closed part of Route 15 in Straban Township, Adams County, has cleared authorities say. All southbound lanes were shuttered between Exit: PA 234 - HEILDLERSBURG/EAST BERLIN and Exit: PA 394/US 15 BUS - HUNTERSTOWN as of 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, according to the Pennsylvania department of transportation. 70+ Car Crash Closes Route 581 For Hours
A pileup involving approximately 70 vehicles will shut Route 581 in Cumberland County indefinitely Saturday, March 12. The crash was reported on the eastbound side near mile marker 7.1 around 2:10 p.m., in the wake of the afternoon snow storm. It happened between exits for Route 15 and I-83. Several injuries were reported, though none were life-threatening, authorities said. Drivers sat in traffic for two or three hours, some without heat, before being reunited with their families or taken to a local firehouse for treatment.
