Man ID'd Following Rollover Crash On RT 222: Coroner A 60-year-old man from Ephrata died at the scene of a rollover crash along Route 222 on Saturday July 9, authorities say. A deputy Lancaster County coroner came to the crash in West Earl Township at 2 p.m., according to a release by the county's forensic center. Edwin Hayes was pronounced dead at the scene. Hayes will be examined at the center to determine the cause and manner of his death. His community is already sharing about it's loss on social media: Funeral and memorial service details have yet to be released.

Norris Carl, of Shoemakersville, lost control of a 2004 Chevrolet pickup while navigating a curve eastbound on Mountain Road, crossing into the opposite lane of travel around 9 p.m., Tilden Township police said. Naifees Giddings-Page, 26, of Harrisburg (previously of York and Philadelphia), was driving Monday on I-83 north in Conewago Township when he hit the right barrier, crossing both lanes of traffic and striking the left median barrier wall, according to the York County Coroner’s Office.
