Two people were found dead inside a burning home in Middle Paxton Township, Dauphin County, early Thursday morning, Jan. 9, following reports of an explosion, Pennsylvania State Police announced. A duck hunter was rescued from the Susquehanna River after his canoe flipped, Dauphin - Middle Paxton Fire Company announced on Sunday, Jan. 6. The incident happened just after 6:30 a.m., when crews were dispatched for a water rescue near Middle Paxton Township. Emergency responders were informed that a hunter’s canoe had overturned, leaving him stranded in the river, according to the fire company. Lebanon Mom Dies After Crashing Through 2 Central PA Buildings
A 47-year-old mom from Lebanon died after crashing into two buildings Sunday morning, authorities said. Police responding to Linglestown Road and North 6th Street found Amy Krick's vehicle had left the roadway and hit two structures around 7 a.m., Susquehanna police said. Krick's vehicle appeared to have struck one side of Salon 160 then went through the other side and into a brick house, PennLive reports.
