20-Year-Old Killed, 3 Other National Guard Members Injured In Crash At Fort Indiantown Gap
A 20-year-old woman has died in a crash between two military vehicles at Fort Indiantown Gap on Saturday, Oct. 22, the Pennsylvania National Guard told Daily Voice. Specialist Mackenzie "Mack" L. Shay, 20 of New Castle, was killed in the crash, according to Capt. Travis Mueller. The three other service members who were hurt were taken to Hershey Medical Center and all have since been released. There appears to be a disturbing trend of firearms at one Pennsylvania airport, authorities say. TSA officers seized the fourth gun in five days at Pittsburgh International Airport on Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 1:07 p.m., according to a release by Allegheny County Police of their finding. A train car has derailed in Pittsburgh, authorities say. The car went off the track under unknown circumstance in Dormont on Wednesday, Oct. 5 around 10:30 a.m., according to a release by Pittsburgh Regional Transit.
