Patrol Car Strikes 5-Year-Old Girl, Philadelphia Police Say A child was hospitalized after being struck by a police car in Southwest Philadelphia on Tuesday night, June 4, authorities say.  A patrol officer hit a 5-year-old girl on the 1600 block of South Ithan Street just before 7:30 p.m., PPD said. She was taken to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and is reportedly in stable condition.  No one else was injured and the crash is under investigation, police said.

Cold CASE: Man Shot Dead While Checking Flat Tire On Delaware Expressway Pennsylvania State Police are offering a $10,000 reward to anyone who can help them solve Naython Brown's murder.  Brown, a 33-year-old Philadelphia resident, was shot once in the head near Exit 4 on Interstate 95 on Oct. 18, 2019.  Troopers said he was traveling from Philadelphia to Chester when a rear tire on his Chevrolet Monte Carlo became deflated. Mom Fatally Hits Toddler Daughter With Car In NE Philly: Police (Updated) A  woman fatally struck her daughter with her car in Philadelphia's Crescentville neighborhood on Wednesday evening, May 8, the police told Daily Voice.   The 31-year-old woman was driving a Chevrolet Traverse when she struck the 2-year-old girl in the 200 block of Comly Street around 5:30 p.m., PPD explained.   The toddler was taken to Einstein Hospital in critical condition and later died, according to police.  An investigation into this deadly incident is ongoing.
