Man Who Murdered Lancaster Dad Learns His Fate, DA Say A confessed killer is heading to prison, according to a release by the Lancaster County district attorney's office on Friday, January 13, 2023.  Police were dispatched for a report of a stabbing at 505 Pearl Street on Sept. 1, 2021, just before 7 a.m. The officers arrived to find Brandon Schweers, 36, of the 500 block of Pearl Street in Lancaster, with visible injuries to his head and knee, as well as having difficulty breathing. Coatesville Student Discharges Pepper Spray On School Bus A Coatesville high school student discharged pepper spray on a school bus carrying nearly 50 students Monday, Sept. 12, dispatch tells Daily Voice. No students were sickened in the incident near N Chester Avenue and Coates Street around 2:45 p.m., district officials said. Several students were evaluated but most did not leave the bus, per instruction from EMS. One student complained of mild respiratory irritation, but refused medical treatment.
