Explosion Injures One, Damages Vehicles At PA Turnpike Service Plaza
An explosion rocked the Blue Mountain Service Plaza on the Pennsylvania Turnpike early Tuesday, Nov. 19, according to Pennsylvania State Police. The blast occurred in the rear commercial vehicle parking lot of the westbound plaza at mile marker 202.5 in Hopewell Township, Cumberland County, at approximately 4:55 a.m., authorities said. I-83 Crash Kills 20-Year-Old Motorcyclist In York County: PSP
A motorcyclist died from his injuries after crashing on Interstate 93 in Newberry Township on Wednesday afternoon, May 22, authorities say. The 20-year-old wrecked in the southbound lanes near mile marker 32.3 and was taken to Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center where he died, said state police. The right southbound lane remains shut down while troopers investigate the scene, authorities added.

A school bus driver has been charged after eight people were injured in a crash involving the bus and a car, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Tuesday. Terry M. Stroup, 34 of Neville, was wearing her seatbelt but suffered a "suspected minor injury" Pennsylvania State Police wrote in an updated release on Dec. 12. A community is mourning after a central Pennsylvania father was identified as the victim of a deadly shooting in Harrisburg over the weekend. Tyshaun Darden, 29, of Harrisburg, died at Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center on Friday night, PennLive reports citing Dauphin County officials.
