A second man has been found dead in Pennsylvania over the weekend, police announced on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 22. The second man was found during a search for a missing man from Lititz, according to the local police. The search began around 8:25 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20, as detailed in the release. Bald Eagle Struck On Highway Rescued By Pennsylvania State Police Troopers
Two Pennsylvania State Police Troopers went on a rescue mission for a special bird. Troopers Alex Ebbert and Emilio Rizzo were called to a report of a bald eagle struck on Route 422 in Greenwood Township, Perry County on Sunday around 11 a.m., according to PSP. They arrived to find that the bird suffered from an injured wing after being hit by a car. "Trooper Ebbert used his cruiser jacket to wrap the bird for secure transport," state police stated in a release. "They met PA Game Commission personnel at PSP Newport, who took the eagle for rehabilitation."

6 Years After Retirement Beloved Central PA Police Sgt., Ast. Fire Chief Dies By Suicide
A beloved central Pennsylvania policeman has died by suicide six years after retirement. Sgt. J. Donald “J.D.” Shaeffer served with the Lancaster Bureau of Police for 25 years before retiring in August 2016, according to police officials. He began his career with the Bureau in 1991 as a patrolman and worked his way up to sergeant by 2007, officials with the Bureau said in a statement.
