'Explosion' Injures 3 Workers At Plant In Waynesboro: Authorities (Update) Multiple people were injured in an explosion-like event at a manufacturing plant in South Central Pennsylvania. Emergency crews were called to the "fire department incident" at Johnson Controls located at 100 Cumberland Valley Avenue in Waynesboro at 7:23 a.m., according to emergency dispatchers in Franklin County. "An air chamber rupture," was also reported to the police. They added that the incident is contained to the facility. Three people were injured, two of whom were airlifted to hospitals, according to dispatchers and witnesses. The extent of their injuries is unknown. Daily …
