Flames Shoot Through Roof Of Franklin County Home Destroyed By Fire (Photos; Video) A house fire with flames shooting through the roof destroyed a home in Franklin County early Thursday, Jan. 2, Franklin Fire Company announced. Crews were called to the 9000 block of Corner Road near Pittman Road in Montgomery Township around 6:15 a.m. for a fully involved blaze at a single-story, single-family wood-frame home, Franklin Fire Company said. Ambulance 9-8 (Mercersburg) was the first to arrive, reporting fire throughout the structure. Chief 9 of the Mercersburg Fire Company ordered a defensive attack as flames consumed the home. Missing, Endangered Alert Issued For 84-Year-Old Woman: PA State Police An 84-year-old woman drove off on Monday morning and has not been heard from since Pennsylvania State Police say. Louise Heckler was last seen driving a white 2013 Ford Taurus on Bethlehem Pike in Montgomery Township around 10:35 a.m. on Aug 21, according to state police.  Her PA license plate number is DDH9611. She is described as being 4 foot 9 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds, with brown hair, and wears glases.  Anyone who sees her or may know of her whereabouts is asked to contact 911 or the Montgomery Twp. police at 215-362-2301.
