A person died after shooting themself during a police standoff in Upper Saucon Township early Thursday morning, March 20, authorities said. Upper Saucon Township Police said officers responded to a 911 call at 12:48 a.m. reporting a home invasion and gunshots on the 4800 block of West Hopewell Road in Center Valley.
