Wendy's E. Coli Outbreak Sickens 100+ People: Report
The number of people sickened by an E. coli outbreak linked to Wendy's sandwiches continues to climb, the New York Post reports. While the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention initially said 37 people in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania were sickened from eating lettuce in the sandwiches, that number has since jumped to more than 100, the outlet said. York County and several of its correctional officials are facing a class action suit by more than 45 current and former prisoners alleging a "toxic culture" of "excessive and unjustified terror," as first reported by the York Daily Record.
