A man who was shot dead by a police officer inside a Central Pennsylvania nursing home has been identified and details leading up to his death have been released by the York County Coroner's and District Attorney Dave Sunday's offices on Friday afternoon. A Philadelphia man has been charged with making a false incident report telling police that his former girlfriend was being held at gunpoint in Connecticut. The incident occurred in Fairfield County on Sunday, March 17, around 8:30 a.m. According to Lt. Tomasz Podgorski of the Norwalk Police, the department received information from the New York City Police Department that a woman was being held at gunpoint in a Norwalk home. A 76-year-old church volunteer took three youth group members shopping and to lunch at McDonald's and ended up with police storming his home, as detailed in court documents obtained by Daily Voice. Roy Andrews of the 4900 block Raudabaugh Road in Mechanicsburg was the youth leader for a Hispanic church in Harrisburg called “Iglesia La Fuenta” from 2014 through 2022, the police explained in a release. A 44-year-old convicted felon is wanted by the police for dragging an officer by his vehicle down a Harrisburg street, authorities announced on Monday. The unnamed man has a Rochester, NY address, a South Carolina driver's license, and was wanted on a warrant in Maryland, the Camp Hill police explained. More than 50 people were arrested after police broke up a large cockfighting ring in Atlantic County, authorities said.
