Driver Killed Fiery Crash ID'd By Lancaster County Coroner
The man who became entrapped in his vehicle died at the scene of the crash has been identified, the Lancaster County Coroner's office announced on Thursday, Aug. 15. Brian Lewis, 52, of the 1600 block of Slate Hill Road Drumore Township, died at the scene of a crash in the 1300 block of Slate Hill Road near the intersection of Tanning Yard Hollow Road in Drumore Township, Pennsylvania State Police Troop J announced. A woman has been identified following a deadly two-vehicle crash on Route 30/Lincoln Highway in Lancaster County on Wednesday morning, Pennsylvania State Police told Daily Voice. PA Amish Boy Tossed 84 Feet After Strike By SUV: Authorities
An 11-year-old Amish boy was struck dead on Friday, authorities say. Samuel K. Fisher of Peach Bottom was riding a non-motorized scooter in the 1500 block of Slate Hill Road in Drumore when he was hit by a passing car on Aug. 25, the authorities told Daily Voice. He became "unconscious with severe injuries," and was being airlifted to Lancaster General Hospital when he "succumbed to his injuries," Pennsylvania State Police Trooper James Grothey said.
