A twice-convicted child sex offender has been found with child porn — again, police say. Brandon Scott Dasilva, 29, of Ephrata was detected with child pornography on an email account traced to Twitch— a popular live-streaming site typically used for gaming, police announced on June 1, 2023. Central PA Man Caught With Child Porn After Cybertip: Police
A 33-year-old Mount Joy man was found with child porn after police received a Cybertip, authorities say. Zachary Kump's home and electronic devices were searched by the Lancaster County Computer Crimes Task Force after police received the Cybertip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children on Aug. 9, according to a release by the Ephrata police on Sept. 13. A central Pennsylvania man has been charged in connection with sharing child pornography using his Yahoo email account, according to police. The West Earl Township Police Department, with the assistance of the Lancaster County Computer Crimes Task Force, executed a search warrant in the 30 block of East Main Street in Brownstown, as part of an investigation into the possession and distribution of child pornography on Sept. 9, police said in a statement.
