Nearly 500,000 juicers are being recalled after reports of hundreds of malfunctions reported by consumers, some of which included injuries that required emergency treatment, according to federal officials. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced that Empower Brands is recalling approximately 469,000 Power XL Self-Cleaning Juicers due to both laceration and ingestion hazards. Eight styles of women’s shoes are being recalled across the globe by Clarks due to concerns about toxins inside the product, the retailer announced. The US Consumer Product and Safety Commission (CPSC) issued an alert regarding a recall of approximately 113,000 shoes under the "Breeze" style name that were sold stateside and an additional 10,000 in Canada that pose a potential chemical hazard. Recognize them? Authorities are seeking the public’s help identifying two people that allegedly scammed thousands of dollars’ worth of gift cards and merchandise from a Lehigh Valley Kohl’s store. The couple — pictured above — scammed $3,200 in gift cards and other items from the Kohl's on Easton-Nazareth Hwy. in Easton on Saturday, July 30, Colonial Regional Police said. Two men seem to be taking Kohl's cash literally rather than a department store coupon, as they to appear be a part of a multi-state scam involving thousands of dollars of jewelry and cash at Kohl’s, police say. Two women who tried to buy nearly $7,000 in items--mostly gift cards-- along Carlisle Pike are wanted by police. Lower Allen Township Police Department responded to a call of a stolen wallet from a purse at Weis Market on Lowther Road in Camp Hill on Jan. 31.
