Big Lots To Close 5 More Pennsylvania Stores
Things have gotten worse for the discount retailer Big Lots. The national chain was previously set to close approximately 300 stores, then they decided to close 40 more, but following a new filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission on Friday, Oct. 4, the impending closure of another 150 stores nationwide has been announced. A state police officer received two years of probation after pleading guilty in connection with a 2022 road rage incident in Chester County, according to the District Attorney's Office. A 76-year-old man has been arrested for killing his wife and daughter, the Chester County District Attorney’s Office and the Pennsylvania State Police Avondale announced on Friday afternoon. Roger Lee Hanks originally of Virginia most recently of Kennett Square is accused of shooting his wife and adult daughter during a dispute "in the early evening hours of April 25," as stated in the release.
