A registered sex offender awaiting a preliminary hearing in a child pornography case has been found dead in his cell at the Dauphin County Prison, officials told Daily Voice on Monday night. Gymnastic Coach ID'd As Woman Killed In Fiery Rt 283 Crash
The woman killed in a fiery three-vehicle on Route 283 in Dauphin County on Tuesday morning has been identified. Melissa 'Missy' Lynn Deroba, 49, of Middletown, died an accidental death due to smoke inhalation and thermal burns, according to Dauphin County Press Secretary Jennifer Fitch. A tractor-trailer rear-ended Missy's grey 2005 Ford Escape, bursting into flames, as the truck continued to rear-end another tractor-trailer — becoming stuck under the passenger side of the trailer, according to a Pennsylvania State Police release the following morning. 17-Year-Old Stabbed To Death In Central PA ID'd By Family
A 17-year-old has been identified by his family after he was stabbed to death earlier in the week. Justice Corcino of York was found with "life-threatening stab wounds" in the 900 block of East Philadelphia Street in York City at 1:02 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 30, York City police detailed in a release and a family friend, Desiree Stewart confirmed in a GoFundMe. Bomb-sniffing dogs were called to the sweetest place on earth on Friday, authorities. Security personnel at Hershey's Chocolate World alerted dispatchers at the Dauphin County 911 Center of a reported bomb threat to the facility at 3:25 p.m., on Aug. 11, according to Dauphin County Communications Director Jennifer Fitch. "The building was being evacuated as a precaution," Fitch said.
